How does the energy management (em) accessory kit work?
Answer:
In series with the 24-volt control circuit (trans- former is field-supplied) it disconnects the power at the front desk during unoccupied periods. The unit will be energized in emergency heat mode, provided the push button switch is selected for heating, if the room temperature drops below 55° F to prevent freezing.
