INTRODUCTION
These instructions cover the installation of accessory insulated panels into the polymer wall sleeve for decreased condensation build-up on the wall sleeve.

BEFORE INSTALLATION
Check kit contents as listed in Table 1.

INSTALLATION

WARNING
Before servicing this unit, disconnect all power to the unit to avoid the possibility of electrical chock and personal injury.

1. Carefully remove unit chassis by removing unit front panel and the 4 mounting screws securing unit chassis to wall sleeve. Save screws.

2. Carefully peel the protective backing from the bottom panel. Remove the protective backing from the foam seal. Measure 3 in. from one end of the bottom of the bottom panel and adhere foam seal to bottom panel insulation as shown in Fig. 1. Foam seal should be flush with outer edge of bottom panel. See Fig. 1. With adhesive side down, place bottom panel on inside bottom edge of wall sleeve and press firmly. See Fig. 2.

NOTE: When properly installed, bottom panel should be flush with the front of the wall sleeve.

3. Carefully peel the protective backing from one of the side panels. Place on the inside of the wall sleeve and press firmly. See Fig. 2.

4. With a utility knife, cut the wall sleeve insulation for the top slot of the top panel. Carefully peel protective backing from top panel. With adhesive side up, place on inside top of wall sleeve and press firmly. See Fig. 2. Slot should be aligned with the rib in the top of the wall sleeve.

5. Repeat Step 3.

6. Use a small amount of silicone sealer (field-supplied) to seal around entire perimeter of the inserted panels, front and rear. Be careful not to get sealer on the horizontal surfaces of the panels. Be sure to seal all corners where the panels come together.

7. Slide unit into wall sleeve and secure unit chassis to wall sleeve using mounting screws removed in Step 1.
